Autism Assessments
Cassie provides adult and child assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Detailed evaluations for ASD utilise tools like the ADOS-2, an internationally recognised tool used as part of best-practice autism assessments. These assessments are typically conducted in person over several sessions.

Cassie also offers a shorter, less expensive ASD assessment option. This assessment can be conducted via video and is designed for individuals who may not require the full comprehensive evaluation. Suitability for this option is discussed during the intake process to ensure it meets the client’s specific needs.
ADHD Assessments
Cassie provides adult and child assessments for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Comprehensive evaluations for ADHD involve a detailed assessment of intellectual ability, as well as specialised tests of attention and executive functioning.

Educational Assessments
These assessments are designed to identify learning difficulties (e.g. dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia) and academic underperformance in both children and adults.
These assessments aim to not only rule in/out a learning difficulty, but also provide a deeper insight into why a child is having certain difficulties and what intervention can be used to address their difficulties.
Giftedness and Intelligence Assessments
Intelligence testing can be conducted to determine a child's or adults IQ (Intelligence Quotient). This can identify individuals with ‘giftedness’.

An intellectual assessment is also useful in order to diagnose an intellectual disability. This assessment can help guide appropriate school placement.

NDIS Assessments
Neuropsychological assessments are often required to support an NDIS application or renewal as it can provide objective evidence of difficulties. Based on this, recommendations are made in terms of what therapy a child or adult may need and the intensity of such therapy.
